What's everyone been up to?

Me? Had to close the school - hope to open again, but when you can't pay rent.....

But I landed on my feet, found a job building surgical lasers for a company called LuxarCare and they contract me out to another laser company called Aesculight. I've taken a break from the MA's but I hope to start up again soon.

Glad to hear things are looking up for you. Sorry to hear about the dojo, MA seems to be the last thing on the agenda when it comes to getting by bill wise. Unfortunately it's probably more important nowthan everwith the way thing are. I personally have been off work since my company closed in october so now I'm a full time college student working on a Network Administration degree or a glorified computer fixer if you like.

Hi All
I have been fortunate enough to keep the martial arts going...I work a full time job running my own home repair business so the karate is supplemental...I moved from the church gym in Novemeber and I am renting a very nice large space from a Sr. center..it only costs me $200.00 per month so the rent is right. That way I don't have to charge a lot per student so it is affordable to them...I also am still the martial arts director for "Communities In Schools" and have an after school class at a private school as well, so it keeps me busy.

It's good to see you back. I'm just getting back into the forums, doing a little posting. I hope to get this site back in business, added some new subjects and of course looking for ideas on new interesting subjects.
